The Treat Table hosts a Christmas Cookie Exchange!

Hydrengeas and winterberry
The Treat Table couldn't resist putting together a Christmas table... but there was a twist.  We left the baking to our friends.  Of course Jeannette wanted to host a gathering, so we decided to make it a Christmas Cookie exchange.  Everyone contributed to taste testing and the aesthetic challenge.  We had a great time, and our friends participated in what we love to do.  All the cookies were so delicious, it was difficult to choose what would make The Treat Table cut, to make it a diverse menu!  Enjoy the pictures, have a Very Merry Christmas and a wonderful ringing in of the New Year! Lots of Love, Jeannette and Cecilia.

Martha Stewarts perfect boxes were the inspiration to the table.
PS: This doesnt necessarily mean its the last table of the year..... lol!

Valentines Day

Outdoor fall Brunch Wedding

The Treat Table was thrilled to do this Fall outdoor wedding.  The client had a beautiful large backyard. The custom designed chocolate cake had a raspberry filling and decadent layers of chocolate ganache. We also made pumpkin pecan macarons, Red Velvet cake shots, carrot cake shots, kahlua brownies (at the request of the groom) and cake pops.  The big hit was the mimosa shots! Visually, they added a pop of color to the table.  The bride wanted fall colors, while knowing that the groom is a Florida State Seminole, the color scheme fit perfectly with their personalities!

Halloween Cocktail Party

This was SOO much fun. The client specifically asked NOT to have a cake for her annual Halloween party. We started with macarons in different colors/flavors: purple/chocolate, yellow/dulce de leche, orange/pumpkin pecan.  We also had red velvet cake shots, carrot cake shots, chocolate mousse shots, kahlua brownies (note the repetition we were being very resourceful), cake pops, coffee mini cupcakes, and caramel corn cones.

The layout was meant to mimic a large moon with shadow houses, branchy trees and windows, all underlit by votive candlight.  The effect was truly awesome and the camera flash doesn't do it justice. The window detail is also reflected in the banner
